Overview
We are seeking a fun, energetic, reliable, punctual, and outgoing individual to join our team at the University Inn on the USU Logan Campus. As a Breakfast Attendant, this position will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a delightful breakfast experience. This position will often be the last team member our guests interact with, making this role essential in leaving a positive impression.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Serve Breakfast Items: Including but not limited to coffee, waffle mix, biscuits and gravy, turkey sausages, scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, and other hot breakfast dishes.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the breakfast area is clean and well organized.
  • Set Up and Break Down: Efficiently set up and break down the breakfast area.
  • Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.
  • Stock Management: Ensure all food items are purchased, fully stocked and maintained on inventory.


Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in cooking, bussing, meal preparation, and F.I.F.O. (First-In-First-Out) knowledge is required.
  • Skills: Must be organized, a self-starter, and able to multi-task effectively.
  • Availability: Must be able to work at least one weekend shift per week. Working hours are 5 days a week, 5 hours each day, from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Flexibility is required as some days may be longer or shorter based on business needs.
  • Permit: Current Food Handlers Permit required, if applicant doesn't have current permit upon beginning of job duty, cost of training will be provided by the University Inn.

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.
