Description

GAI is seeking a CEI Construction Manager to support our Central Florida operations. The Construction Manager position primarily involves managing CEI teams, clients, and project budgets. You will be required to develop an approach for pursuing local government and private clients' CEI projects. For this opportunity, good public relations, communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others are required.

Job Duties:



  • Provide oversight of Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) teams for highway and bridge projects for private and local government projects across Central Florida.
  • Direct construction engineering administration and inspection programs.
  • Review deliverables for compliance with company standards, client contracts, and related specifications.
  • Responsible for financial success of assigned projects by conducting frequent project budget reviews.
  • Assist with marketing and proposal development. Establish and maintain client relationships.
  • Work with the CEI teams and develop construction strategies to deliver projects.
  • Ability to manage construction teams and clients effectively.


Job Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in construction-related field (or equivalent construction-related work experience), and 20+ years of experience in construction is required.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Central Florida local governments.
