POSITION SUMMARY:

The Print Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment to ensure the accurate and efficient production of printed materials for BioBait products. This role involves setting up print jobs, monitoring the printing process, and conducting quality checks to ensure high standards are met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Machine Operation:Set up and operate printing equipment, including digital printers, and other related machinery.
  • Job Setup:Prepare and set up print jobs according to specifications, including selecting appropriate inks, screens, and substrates.
  • Quality Control:Monitor the printing process to ensure high-quality output. Conduct regular quality checks and adjust as needed.
  • Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Ensure that machines are kept clean and in good working condition.
  • Inventory Management:Maintain inventory of printing supplies, including inks, screens, and substrates. Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Documentation:Maintain accurate records of print jobs, including quantities produced, materials used, and any issues encountered.
  • Safety Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Promote a culture of safety within the print area.
  • Process Improvement:Suggest improvements to printing processes to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with the production and design teams to ensure that printed materials meet specifications and align with BioBait's branding standards.
  • Ability to work multiple stations, including general labor.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Previous experience in a printing or production environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining printing equipment. Knowledge of various printing techniques and materials.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
