This role involves managing a team, ensuring that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely, and planning and scheduling proactive, predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance activities on all of the plant's equipment. The Maintenance Manager plays a critical role in minimizing equipment downtime, optimizing productivity, and maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. What You'll Do Supervise, train, manage the maintenance team including setting objectives, providing daily direction and feedback to department employees Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for all facilities, production/support equipment Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize disruption to operations in a timely manner within the CMMS Conduct cross-departmental preventative maintenance meetings to ensure effectiveness and collaboration Work across all departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and to maximize equipment reliability/performance and minimize cost/waste Manage the maintenance department budget, ensuring expenditures are aligned with company objectives and financial constraints; provide support for capital projects and equipment upgrades What You'll Need 5+ years in a maintenance management role, preferably in the Plastics Industry, specifically sheet extrusion, and punching and orientating extruded sheet 5+ years of maintenance and equipment reliability experience Knowledge and direct experience with Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in equipment and facility maintenance Ability and willingness to work outside of regular business hours for emergency repairs Your Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent work experience required We are CMC, a Fortune500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
