Job Description

The Microsoft 365 Analyst is a member of the Workplace Technologies team which is responsible for general purpose productivity IT technologies such as Microsoft 365 related technologies, telephony, meeting room and contact center solutions on a global level from vision to architecture, engineering, prototyping, implementation, and day to day operation.

As a Microsoft 365 Analyst you will be working together with your fellow team members and BD's operational partners to maintain and improve our user general purpose productivity experience through operational excellence, drive end-user adoption, identify and execute upon areas for improvement and participate in projects touching all technologies associated with the global Workplace Technologies team. The Microsoft 365 Analyst should have experience in one or multiple Microsoft 365 components (for ex. Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) and other technology spaces the Workplace Technologies team is responsible.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support, participate and lead Workplace Technologies related technology projects
  • Assist in design and implementation of enterprise solutions
  • Complete projects/improvements/deliverables needed to implement technology, processes, or services to meet requirements including the documentation, testing and implementation
  • Drive business user adoption of Workplace Technologies related technology through documentation, user communities and training opportunities
  • Coordinates changes and resolution of issues with infrastructure, change, and support teams
  • Ensure communication of change implementations and service impacts
  • Work together with our third-party operational parties in all aspects of the engagement(s)
  • Develop and implement procedures and documentation for ensuring ongoing operations and proactive maintenance of the environment consistent with industry standards
  • Ensure appropriate service levels are met and work to enhance operational service levels where applicable
  • Review and analyze reporting on ITSM processes and Service Level Agreements to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements should be made
  • Identify and work to resolve any problems in the service delivery processes
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of complex issues
  • Work as key driver to facilitate partner teams to ensure delivery provides the desired outcomes
  • Focus on continuous process improvement and user experience by increasing ITs value through innovation and emerging technologies

Qualifications:

The candidate will bring a combination of technology expertise, engineering support and ownership, customer service and solution-oriented mindset together. In addition, this person should also possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with demonstrated work experience in Engineering support IT Infrastructure, Change Implementation.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in IT Infrastructure.
  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure and IT security
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 technologies such as Exchange, Teams and/or SharePoint Online
  • Experience in technologies related to meeting room, telephony or contact center is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Azure AD (Active Directory)
  • Good knowledge of PowerShell and leveraging it for automation
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN technologies
  • Customer service orientation and relationship management skills with organizational partners and customers
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Interest in engaging with our end-user community to drive technology adoption
  • Strong humility, listening, creativity, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to align and work with diverse global stakeholders
  • Strong planning, communication, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated - demonstrates personal drive and ambition, fostering innovation, focusing on delivery to our customers
  • Good analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to identify root-cause issues/improvement opportunities, and design approaches/programs/products to improve overall quality assurance
  • Experience with IT operational stability
  • Experience in managing IT infrastructure for a medium-to-large organization
  • Experience managing outsourced IT providers and experience working with a variety of third-party technical organizations to achieve business goals
