Job Title: Biomedical Equipment Tech 2 Location: Baltimore, MD Position Type: Full time, Hourly, Dayshift Job Summary: Inspects tests, calibrates, troubleshoots, maintains, repairs and modifies biomedical electronic and electromechanical devices. Has direct responsibility for all serviced devices. This work is performed under minimal supervision and using the tools and techniques of biomedical technology. Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires the completion of formal training in a recognized certificate program in Biomedical Technology or Electronics at a recognized technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization. Or, in lieu of formal training, a candidate must demonstrate 5 years of experience in a technical profession involving electronics, or computer/software-related work. Must demonstrate the accomplishment of continuing education annually, such as service school attended, certifications, and recognized technical training in related technical fields. Work Experience: 2 years of related work experience. Salary Range: Minimum 28.05 per hour - Maximum 46.31 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
