Summary

Manager BTP

As the Manager - Business Technology Platform (BTP), you will be Responsible for designing and deploying cloud-based solutions using SAP BTP services like integration with Trading partner Management, data management, analytics, and machine learning. ERP transformation is a key business transformation initiative for Advantage Solutions which is building a reliable and scalable SAP backbone to support the business initiatives in the areas. You will be responsible to ensure seamless integration between SAP systems and third-party applications, enabling real-time insights and innovation.

Helps optimize business processes by leveraging cloud capabilities, automating workflows, and enhancing system performance. You will also be responsible for designing and deploying cloud-based solutions using SAP BTP services like integration, Trading Partner Management , data management, analytics, and machine learning.You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior executives, department heads, and IT teams, to ensure effective utilization of ERP solutions to enhance business operations, streamline processes, and drive organizational growth.

ERP Leadership:

    Lead mission-critical program and project initiatives in areas of Business Technology Platform Processes and Integrations. Actively seek out and drive continuous improvement opportunities across business processes and system solutions. Provide Solution Leadership in SAP BTP
  • Design and optimize End to End SAP Core Business Technology Platform processes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions giving quick wins.
  • Operate as the Solutioning expert managing integrations with customer engagement systems, payroll, tax etc.

ERP Implementation and Management:

  • Oversee the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA application managing deliverables across all the phases.
  • Manage and Build the SAP Delivery Organization incl. functional teams, development teams, security teams, change and communication teams.
  • Manage external vendors or consultants as an extension of IT to ensure successful SAP implementation and integration with existing systems.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely and high-quality SAP deployment.
  • Provide solution leadership and keep project moving forward working closely with business and IT teams.
  • Responsible for status management and reporting at the project and steerco levels.
  • Leverage IT teams across architecture, PMO, Data, Integration to ensure successful delivery.

System Optimization and Enhancements:

  • Identify opportunities for process automation, data analytics, and integration with other business systems.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross functional leaders, and end-users to understand their ERP needs and address any issues or challenges.
  • Foster strong partnerships with stakeholders to align ERP capabilities with business strategies and objectives.

Facilitate training and change management initiatives to ensure effective adoption and utilization of ERP systems.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage projects, and deliver results.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and address business challenges using ERP solutions.

- Familiarity with IT governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy: Define and communicate a comprehensive IT product strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business strategy. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key initiatives and enhancements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, security, and business units, to ensure successful product development and delivery. Foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT product management. Use market insights to inform product decisions and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Product Development: Lead the product development process, defining product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Work with engineering teams to prioritize and execute product enhancements.
  • Product Launch: Plan and execute product launches, including developing go-to-market strategies, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product introductions.
  • Product Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics for IT products, such as system uptime, reliability, performance, and user satisfaction. Use data-driven insights to drive product improvements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges associated with IT product development and deployment.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate the IT product vision, strategy, and progress to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure alignment and buy-in from all relevant teams.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Field of Study: Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent job-related experience. PMI Certification is desired but not required.
Experience Requirements: 5+ years of experience in project management of varied complexities and scope.
