Apply now Job Summary The Philadelphia Sexual Assault Response Center's (PSARC) team of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) provide treatment and evidence collection to adult victims of acute sexual assault in the clinical setting. The specially trained SANE can provide post-exposure prophylactic care and traumatic injury screening, as well as collect forensic photographs, rape kit swabbing, toxicologic sampling, and clinical forensic narrative development. The SANEs are responsible as professional fact witnesses in the court of law and are liable to subpoena for providing testimony on behalf of the clinical forensic examination. An integral part of the collaborative interface of local victim care, SANEs are dispatched on a 24/7 basis to operate both within the PSARC center, as well as in the community by responding to inpatient hospital settings as requested. Additional Information This is a part-time per diem position classified as non-exempt. The pay offered is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
