Responsibilities
Monitor enterprise network traffic, logs, and alerts to detect, respond, and recover from security incidents that might lead to the loss of confidentiality, Integrity, or availability of systems, data, or operations
Identify, prioritize, and remediate critical vulnerabilities within systems to reduce the risk of compromise
Install, operate, and maintain the necessary security software to protect computer networks, endpoints, and systems from unauthorized access
Document and continuously improve an Incident Response Plan so that any security incidents or breaches can be remediated quickly and efficiently, and any future incidents can be mitigated.
Protect organizational infrastructure, such as computer networks and hardware devices, from cybercriminals and hackers seeking to cause damage or steal sensitive information
Perform risk assessments, prioritize risks, and implement security and privacy controls to manage and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
Conduct threat research to analyze attack patterns and Indicators of compromise related to cybersecurity threats to help better defend against emerging threats
Conduct threat hunting to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities within the network and systems
Coordinate or take part in annual Penetration tests
Stay current with trends and issues in the Cybersecurity industry to maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, networks, operating systems, hardware, software, databases, browsers, etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree
2+ years' experience in Microsoft cybersecurity systems support role
Certifications in Cybersecurity related fields such as Microsoft Certified SC-Series, CySA+, GSEC, Security+, CEH, or CISSP
Good understanding of NIST
Experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) practices, including policy development, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance
Successful history in supporting common operating systems and productivity suites
Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly to a high level of proficiency
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and commitment to exceptional customer service and support
Availability to work 24/7 on-call as needed
Estimated Min Rate: $75000
Estimated Max Rate: $90000
