  • The pay rate for this role is $33.77 an hour to start
  • $2.00 shift differential between the hours of 5:30pm to 5:30am

  • Work schedule:

    • Friday, Saturday and Sunday
    • 6:00am - 6:00pm
    • Workdays and hours may vary depending on operational needs; occasional overtime and weekend work may be required

Here's a snapshot of what you'll do:

Integral member of a high performing maintenance team dedicated to the sustaining and development of a highly automated, medical device manufacturing facility. To work in a class 8 clean room where creativity, teamwork and shared learning are valued over individual successes.

To support an ISO9001 / 13485 / 14001 / 18001 / FDA environment.




  • Perform equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on manufacturing/facility equipment.
  • Provides flexible maintenance / repairs enabling work to be completed during production downtime.
  • Work with machine designers/manufacturers to help detail changes to equipment.
  • Maintain documentation for equipment change control per QA guidelines.
  • Work with outside vendors/service providers for work that cannot be performed internally.
  • Work closely with all departments to maintain focus on KPI reporting / monitoring. Understand the importance / impact of good sound maintenance practices on factory performance.
  • Support CMMS system for maintaining accurate spare parts inventory, documentation, safety procedures.
  • Support / maintain accurate CMMS / SCADA database for "anytime" audit readiness.
  • Must be able to work with little supervision on the manufacturing floor.
  • Initiates repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoots and makes decisions for basic maintenance of equipment and building within scope of position.
  • Supports the effort to implement best practices within job scope; expected to participate in activities designed to improve production, quality and Environment, Health, and Safety.
  • Must be able to work with little supervision on the manufacturing floor.
  • Initiates repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoots and makes decisions for basic maintenance of equipment and building within scope of position.
  • Ability to understand electrical trouble shooting to board level. Component level a plus.
  • Reading of logic / electrical schematics / mechanical drawings.
  • Electrical safety practices.
  • Knowledge of NFPA / NEC guidelines relating to electrical safety.
  • Use of DVM and Oscilloscope to trouble shoot electrical systems.
  • Understanding of chemical dispensing systems and controls.
  • PLC programming preferred. Siemens / Allen Bradley preferred.
  • Robot programming preferred.
  • Vision system set up and use.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Software.
  • Writing of procedures governing department practices relating to preventative maintenance such as Safety, Cleanliness, QA, Calibration, etc..
  • Experience with SCADA systems or other BMS controls preferred.
  • Experience with CMMS systems. IBM Maximo experience a plus.
  • High level of equipment / process ownership.
  • Understands importance of calibration in the support of proper equipment maintenance.



What you'll need:




  • Pre-employment physical, background check, and at least 2 professional references required
  • Proven success working in a team-based environment as well as the ability to meet performance measures with minimal direct supervision and guidance
  • Ability to make well-reasoned decisions both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work overtime to ensure production goals are met
  • Over 75% of the workdays are spent walking or standing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Regular handling, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, and grasping
  • Close vision and color vision are required
  • Ability to wear a respirator
  • Experience in production, manufacturing or related environment preferred, but not required.
  • 2-year trade school with study in electro-mechanical equipment preferred, or equivalent amount of experience and education combination preferred.
  • Collaborative work outlook.
  • Understanding and practical experience with all types of control instrumentation (timing, temp, servo, automation, etc..)
  • Knowledge of, or interest in learning to work within GMP and ISO 9000/ISO 13485 quality assurance systems.
  • Familiar with ISO 14001 / 18001 in a factory setting.
  • Robotic programming experience (PLC) preferred.
  • Experience with converting equipment a plus.
  • Basic familiarity with chemical process equipment and chemical processes is preferred.
  • PLC programming is preferred.
