Position Description:

As an Education Program Coordiantor II you will coordinate department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Neurology fellowship program(s) and student courses by coordinating recruitment, hiring fellows, maintaining fellowship accreditation in compliance with applicable guidelines and policies, under supervision.

Primary Functions

  • Independently execute institutional or program activities (e.g., educational events, training, learner recruitment, interviews, orientation, schedules, and graduation).
  • Work with the Program Director to provide support to fellowship program.
  • Work with multiple Program Directors to provide support and coordination of three fellowships: one ACGME fellowships and two non ACGME fellowship.
  • Work with the Course Directors to provide coordination for multiple student courses.
  • Maintain proficiency in accreditation, board, and institutional requirements. Coordinate and monitor activities related to these requirements to ensure full compliance.
  • Support the designated institutional official, Program Director, Department Chair, and other leaders on issues related to the requirements from accreditation agencies, national boards, and affiliates.
  • Serve as primary liaison with faculty, administration, other departments, affiliated institutions, and national organizations.
  • Develop and maintain databases) to track, schedule, and record activities related to the institution, program(s) and learners.
  • Provide information, support, and problem solving on a wide range of issues for leaders, faculty, staff, and learners.
  • Coordinate recruitment of preceptors, instructors, and speakers.
  • Create brochures, fliers, handbooks, annual reports, and other educational materials.
  • Coordinate assessment and evaluation activities.
  • May monitor program budgets and lead the work of support staff.
  • Share coverage/duties with other education programs in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Neurology




Preferred Schedule:




M-F: 8-5 PM



Position Requirements:

Minimum Required Education: Bachelors degree

Minimum Required Experience: 3 years

Field: Academic medical center, higher education, secondary education
