Description This is position is a per diem - as needed position variable hours. St. Andrews Village | MaineHealth is searching for a cook. Under the supervision of leadership, the COOK is responsible for the preparation and presentation of food production during assigned scheduled hours. The cook will follow standardized recipes and work in a timely and efficient manner. The cook is required to comply with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and follow food production programs and procedures. Summary Summary: Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Food safety certification required (e.g., ServSafe). 3. Experience: One year of relevant food production experience required. One year of specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred. 4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A 5.
