For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

The Registered Nurse for this position would hold a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and be responsible for telephone triage ofpatient'scared for by the adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) team at our ambulatory cardiology practices in Scarborough, ME. Oncetrainedthis candidate would have the opportunity to have a hybrid remote schedule. This position isFull Time; a 40 hour per week position, with no required holidays or weekends. The ideal candidate would have at least two years ofcardiologyexperience.

Summary:
The Registered Nurse - Patient Navigator - Cardiac Surgery role supports safe patient and family centered care by meeting the specialized needs of patients in the assigned service line as they progress through a wide variety of health care settings. The position is responsible for facilitating care and surgical services to enhance quality, cost-effective clinical outcomes, to both meet patients' healthcare needs while also decreasing fragmentation and duplication of care.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate from an accredited college with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Master's Degree preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. 3. Experience: Experience working with patients within the service line preferred, in inpatient, outpatient or community-based care settings. 4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A 5.
