Summary:
The Neurodiagnostic Tech II role operates electroneurodiagnostic equipment to measure neural potentials for use by providers in diagnosing neurological outcomes. Collects EEG data for routine EEGs, Interventional Radiology, Evoked Potentials, Continuous EEG, and long term epilepsy monitoring in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology Program and/or registered as a R.EEG-T, R.EPT CNIM, or CLTM by ABRET required. 2. Certification/Licensure: "See Education" Current BLS certification required or must obtain within six months of start date. 3. Experience: One year of experience in neurodiagnostic field required. Individuals with an Associate's Degree and/or allied healthcare experience and credentials may be considered at leader's discretion and would be expected to obtain R.EEG.T credential within one year of employment. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of Neurodiagnostic Tech I role. 4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Proficient in Routine END monitoring and recording as well as LTM by documenting observation of 20 cases and completion of 20 cases while being observed. 5.
