~ 32Hours/week, Full-time, Day shift ~

Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) is required.

Consider a role as a behavioral health clinician integrated into a primary care setting.This is a 32-hour position, located at MaineHealth PediatricsRockport.This is a well-established practice offering complete care to pediatric patients. This practice is also well versed in integrating behavioral health into the patient experience.The practice values the partnership with behavioral health clinicians and works collaboratively to optimize patient outcomes.Being integrated into a practice reduces stigma for patients, increasing their willingness to participate in care.

The clinician's role includes providing screening, assessments, and focused brief treatment to patients of the practice. Treatment structure includes individual, family, and group work. Additional functions of the role include providing curbside consultation to providers, linking patients to additional services and supports, and participating in population health activities that targets the health and wellbeing of specific groups of people. Persons interested in this position must be comfortable working with patients ages 3- 26, as well as providing treatment to families. Knowledge of and interest in treating substance use disorders is preferred.

Collaborative work with psychiatrists and other integrated clinicians in the MaineHealth system adds to the experience. Individual supervision, group supervision, psychiatry consultation, and quarterly trainings are benefits of this position.

This position will be a generalistMaster's Level mental health Clinician with interest, training and/or experience integrating mental health services into the primary care setting. This position will be placed in primary care practices, work with adults, families and children; and provide assessment, screening, and referral services. Additionally, brief individual therapy, prevention and educational services will be provided and include collaborative work with primary care physicians and their office staff, psychiatrists and other behavioral health providers.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Master's Degree in Social Work/Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work/Counselor Education required.

2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) preferred, or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor by exception. Valid Driver's license required.

3. Experience: Two years of relevant experience in a health or mental health setting preferred.
