The Customer Experience Order Management Specialist is responsible for effectively processing customer orders using our integrated enterprise system (SAP) and Salesforce. This position is responsible for the accurate review of orders along with investigating all elements of service and product billing. This position will require an individual with exceptional attention to detail, advanced computer skills, knowledge of the business, and willingness to provide an exceptional Customer Experience. The right candidate must have a strong "customer service" mindset, the ability to use collaborative approaches, an excellent communicator who expresses consistency in words and actions, and a team player who takes extreme ownership.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Daily review and processing of incoming orders for bulk gases, cylinders, and service orders
  • Excellent phone etiquette is a must
  • Determine if billing is valid or requires additional research before invoices are processed
  • Correspond with customer to review service charges before they are performed
  • Exhibit knowledge of contract pricing, fees, tax status, part numbers, payment terms, etc., in order to resolveissues and discrepancies
  • Work closely with all internal teams to ensure orders are correctly entered and billed
  • Identify and communicate with management any high-level escalations
  • Uphold continuous professional customer experience to bothexternal and internal customers
  • Uphold service level agreements to ensure orders are processed within a timely manner
  • Handle Inbound and Outbound phone calls with customers and various internal departments on a daily basis to provide solutions
  • Exceptional and effective detail orientation with critical thinking to make decisions
  • Facilitating changes and updates when necessary to various parts of the business

What skills/qualifications will I need?

* High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, a bachelor's degree a plus

* Prior order management, A/R, and customer service experience required

* Experience with SAP & Salesforce preferred

* Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, along with working knowledge of google documents required

* Solid retention skills and the ability to adapt in a changing environment

* Excellent business communication in both written and spoken communication
