Overview: Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for an IT Project Manager in Reston, VA. This is a long-term hybrid contract opportunity with benefits. We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a contract role in our IT Operations, Manufacturing, and Logistics departments. The role will involve leading mid-sized projects on both the application and infrastructure sides. This position requires a proactive leader who can work independently and manage project timelines and budgets effectively. Experience in Agile methodologies is essential, and any background in manufacturing is advantageous. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee IT projects in both application and infrastructure, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. Work closely with IT operations, manufacturing, and logistics teams to coordinate project tasks and manage stakeholder expectations. Implement Agile methodologies to drive project efficiency and adaptability. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Lead meetings, document project progress, and address project-related issues promptly. Ensure that all project objectives align with organizational goals and client needs. Requirements: Proven experience in IT project management with an emphasis on operations, application, and infrastructure projects. Agile experience required; PMP certification is beneficial but not required. Background in manufacturing or logistics is a plus. Strong leadership skills with the ability to take initiative and work independently. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Min USD $75.00/Hr. Max USD $85.00/Hr.
