General Summary of Position MedStar Health is actively recruiting for a Product Manager to join our Simulation Training and Education Lab (SiTEL) team. Ideal candidates will have prior healthcare experience and live locally to the DC/MD/VA area. Plans all features that need to be part of products, perform market and competitive analysis of products/features, owning the product strategy for rolling 12-18 months. Plans strategize and introduce new features and products that will help serve internal and external customers. Serves as the face to the internal and external teams to evangelize company products. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborates with engineering to build and deploy high-quality web and mobile applications.Coordinates the development of internal and external release notes, help documentation, and other training materials.Defines product vision, strategy, priorities, and milestones.Gains a deep understanding of customer needs through user feedback, market research, and data analysis.Leads efforts to gather and analyze system usage metrics.Manages features roadmap and creates deployment strategy.Manages, mentors, and develops the Product Management Team.Monitors progress of initiatives through the product development life cycle identifies risks and opportunities and keeps stakeholders informed.Identifies new opportunities to drive innovation based on data analysis, research, industry trends, and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications Education
- Bachelor's degree required
- One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience
Experience
- 5-7 years experience in product management, user experience design, or related field required
- One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education
Licenses and Certifications
- No special certification, registration or license required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience collaborating with a cross-functional teams to develop and implement web and mobile enabled solutions. Clear ability to identify and prioritize features and releases, define product requirements and KPIs, create UI/UX wireframes, develop and maintain the product roadmap and work with Developers to QA and launch products. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Well organized, thorough, and able to handle competing priorities.
This position has a hiring range of $80,995 - $152,027
