Staff Position Purpose: The Government Contracts Assistant Manager is charged with assisting in the operations of the Government Contract and ensures that all work is performed in accordance with the statement of work incorporated into the contract between VersAbility Resources and the U.S. Government. Primary Duties:
Qualifications/Skills Knowledge & Abilities: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree preferred. Experience: Prior supervisory experience required. Two to five years of experience in food service preferred. Experience working with people with disabilities highly preferred. Skills Knowledge & Abilities: Must have knowledge of procedures involved in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation Must be able to work flexible hours Must be able to work virtual error free under the stress of time constraints to complete specific tasks. Must have knowledge of medication administration Must have the ability to multi-task independently Must be able to demonstrate patience while training others that require repeated cuing Must be able to use a computer proficiently for typing of reports, communicating via email, etc. Must have effective oral and written communication skills Physically able to assist individuals in personal care or behavior management training programs Valid Virginia Driving license required, and must be insurable under VersAbility's auto insurance. Physical Demands: The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or other non-level surfaces.Recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities Must be able to lift independently fifty (50) pounds, bend through a full range of motion and stand for extended periods of time Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.
