Summary of Job Duties:General Responsibilities:
1. Understand the admissions processes and procedures to assist prospective
students with the completion of the application for admission and procurement of
needed documents. Become familiar with all data systems used to correctly
process student applications to the college. Proactively contact students as needed
to verify data and correct/update data as needed.
2. Understand UA-PTC registration and advising processes in order to facilitate
students from the admissions process to enrollment.
3. In addition to general prospect/applicant case load, manage a specific admissions
program or student population such as Early College, International Students,
Baptist Health, or Adult Education.
4. Using strong customer services skills, make appropriate service and resource
referrals.
5. Maintain and ensure confidentiality of student academic records and personal
information.
6. Assist in college recruitment activities as requested.
7. Understand the financial aid policies and processes and provide general
information; understand general awards and scholarship processes.
8. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in a secondary or post-secondary setting working with students required; admissions or recruitment experience is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills required.
  • General computer and web knowledge required.
  • Other job-related education and/or experience maybe substituted for all of these basic requirements.
