Responsibilities

Responsible for the production of thorough, accurate, and concise engineering drawings. Prepare layouts of engineering systems, perform calculations, and produce specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development and preparation of conceptual designs and layouts;
  • Under limited supervision, coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development and construction documents within the mechanical and plumbing disciplines;
  • Assist in spatial coordination with architecture and other engineering systems;
  • Process contractor submittals;
  • Perform feasibility studies;
  • Prepare limited construction cost estimates within discipline;
  • Develop, maintain, and use standard details;
  • Adhere to budgets and meeting schedule requirements;
  • Produce quality work;
  • Initiate and utilize state-of-the-art tools;
  • Provide mentoring and direction to junior members of the project team or engineering discipline;
  • Use technology and methodologies to create innovative approaches to building design, with a focus on automation of routine tasks;
  • Consistently strive to improve technical quality of work product by keeping abreast of new technologies, changes in building codes, and advances in the industry;
  • Work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment to produce integrated project documents, and insure integrated design approaches & solutions.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent;
  • 7 - 18 years of experience;
  • Able to develop creative design solutions;
  • Proficiency in BIM software;
  • Thorough understanding of the mechanical and plumbing engineering disciplines;
  • Thorough understanding of industry and Page standards.

Base Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000

(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
