We are searching for a talented RN for Med Surg /Tele /Oncology *UP TO $12,000 NEW HIRE SIGN ON BONUS!* Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA Hours: 36hrs Shift: EVE/NIGHT, 7:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation Looking for:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
This department is a 33-bed unit specializing in the care of Oncology, Palliative Care and End of Life patients. The unit hosts 11 semi-private and 11 private rooms. Chemotherapy competency is maintained by the RNs on Crapo through the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS). This is achieved by certification in chemotherapy-biotherapy administration. We also provide Telemetry monitoring for up to 10 patients. We take great pride in providing excellent patient care in conjunction with all members of our Multidisciplinary Team. *Sign On Details

Responsibilities Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. Qualifications
