Summary: Responsibilities: Other information: Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursingorlicensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing. BASIC KNOWLEDGE:Masters of Science Degree Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Specialty certification required. Baccalaureate in Nursing Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients with consideration of aging processes human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process. EXPERIENCE: Two years related experience as RN in acute care hospital setting and preferred 1-2 years experience as a nurse practitioner. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: General hospital environment with occasional stressful conditions associated with patient care. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
