Director, Digital Transformation

What You'll Do



  • Leadership: Serve as the day-to-day leader of the Digital Business Development Managers (DBDMs) and set overall strategy for how team will achieve company digital goals.
  • Digital Culture: Set the expectation for the team in how they engage with the overall business, internal departments, branch teams, and customers to further understanding and adoption of digital tools.
  • Sonepar Initiatives: Primary point of contact with Sonepar Digital and Technology teams, managing delegating various project tasks to support major initiatives (e.g, platform migrations, user growth campaigns, etc.)
  • Relationships: Builds relationships with other departments key to our customers' digital experience (e.g., Credit, Pricing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Sales) to maintain partnership and strengthen the accuracy and efficiency of Crawford's digital offering.
  • Coaching/mentoring: Establish performance and development goals for each direct report, coach and mentor on relationship development, business acumen, digital platform understanding, and communication. Manage performance toward team success and personal advancement.
  • Reporting: Leverage Sonepar data platforms and PowerBI to analyze metrics and track customer progress and overall region success. Provide monthly reports to leadership on Digital effectiveness.
  • Digital Training: Responsible for overseeing approach to training internal teams and ensuring the necessary tools and access are in place for webinars, in-branch training with sales teams, and follow up on digital competency.
  • Customer Development: Develop an understanding of customer business systems and how to integrate Crawford digital solutions into their business systems and help them use digital solutions to become more efficient in their day-to-day activities.
  • Digital Tools: Build functional understanding of ERP and all digital solutions (website, mobile apps, job management platform, EDI, punchout, Vendor Managed Inventory solutions, etc.) to ensure effectiveness and help make quick decisions.
  • Web Maintenance: Serve as a project manager for customer and product clean up. Schedule and manage regular calls with purchasing, credit, operations, and pricing departments to ensure data is being effectively managed.
  • Partner with Marketing Department with special projects, events, and promotions as needed.
  • SEO and Website Analytics: Crawford's Subject Matter Expert for search optimization, both on and offsite. Responsible for evaluating Crawford's website performance and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Research and report on industry and competitor trends as it relates to digital capabilities.



Requirements



  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with little supervision
  • Must be able to build relationships and earn trust of leadership team, Sales, and other executives and stakeholders.
  • Must have advanced leadership capabilities to identify and articulate digital strategy, growth opportunities, as well as the value of digital platform.
  • Must demonstrate good time management skills
  • Must possess strong planning, organizational, and execution skills
  • Must have the ability to set goals and meet deadlines
  • Must demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities and ability to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner
  • Must possess a proactive and positive team approach to problem resolution
  • Must have the ability to establish strong working relationships with co-workers and management



Additional Knowledge and Skills



  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Must be able to work on many projects simultaneously and deliver projects on schedule
  • Comfortable speaking in front of Executive-Level Leaders
  • Excellent PowerPoint and/or Keynote Design capabilities



What You Bring



  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in business, marketing, or technology-related field
  • 7-10 years of digital business, eCommerce, technology, and/or digital marketing experience OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and managerial experience specifically related to the position (ERP platform, business-to business environment, eCommerce, etc.)
  • Proven team leader with a background of managing multiple direct reports.
  • Customer-facing sales, account management, and electrical industry experience preferred.
