Pay: $13.50/hr

Shift Available: 1st shift (Monday - Friday)

As a Production Associate, you'll be responsible for removing products from machines and conveyors and neatly placing them on pallets according to the designated pattern. This role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Duties:



  • Inspect bags or tubes as they come off the production line, placing defective items in the scrap cart and reworkable items in a designated area.
  • Learn and apply different stacking patterns to ensure proper pallet organization.
  • Place items neatly on pallets with a square, straight-up orientation.
  • Complete metal detector training and take immediate action to inspect or quarantine the bags that trigger the detector.
  • Notify the machine operator of recurring quality issues and stop the machine when necessary.
  • Assist the operator and helpers with paper roll changes when required.
  • Count bags by layer and attach ID bags or pallet tickets to completed pallets.
  • Manage scrap grades and empty scrap into appropriate containers.
  • Maintain a clean work area and assist with machine cleanup as instructed.


Qualifications:



  • Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions in English
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift and place stacks of bags (up to 15 lbs.)
  • Bending, squatting, and twisting throughout the day
  • Work environment is hot in the summer and cold in the winter
