Human Resources Business Partner

Position Summary

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a key role in supporting the HR strategy and aligning it with the business goals of the organization. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with line managers and employees across various departments to implement HR programs and initiatives that enhance employee experience, performance, and overall organizational effectiveness.

The HRBP 1 will provide day-to-day HR support to business units, help resolve employee relations issues, and contribute to key HR functions such as performance management and compensation.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for Managers and employees regarding HR-related queries.
  • Provide guidance and conduct investigations on employee relations issues and assist in resolving conflicts or concerns.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve agency efficiency.
  • Explore and recommend process improvements for workflows, policy development and other department areas.
  • Support the implementation of HR projects, initiatives.
  • Assist with the administration of the Performance Management cycle and or any related training.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources and HRIS as a subject matter expert to guide policy translation for HR system implementations, upgrades or changes.
  • Collaborate with the Facility Manager on safety and preventive measures.
  • Understand the components of employee benefit rewards and compensation.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous learning, high-quality service orientation and professional development.


  • Perform other HR-related tasks or projects as assigned.



Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

2 years minimum experience in HR, with a focus on business partnership or Human Resources Manager roles.

Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and influence decision-making.

Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.

Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Salary Range/Benefits

$65-$70K
