Responsibilities

Summary

This position assists in providing compliance oversight and management of GEO Care's Day Reporting Centers and In-Custody operations in Reentry Services and BI's ISAP facilities divisions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs on-site contract compliance audits at non-residential and supervision facilities to determine adherence to contractual obligations and internal standards to Evidence Based Principles (EBP) standards as applicable, as well as applicable state and federal laws.
  • Provides compliance audit reports to Contract Compliance management in a timely manner.
  • Determines appropriate on-site guidance and support as needed in non-compliant areas.
  • Actively supports the divisional efforts to ensure corrective measures are in place to support full compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Adheres to and implements directives from the Contract Compliance department.
  • Assists with compiling, evaluating, analyzing and reporting outcome measures.
  • Trains operations staff on issues of contract compliance and quality assurance.
  • Analyzes and compares the processes across all offices and identifies best practices and submits recommendation to management for implementation.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with staff to provide compliance resources, develop and enhance positive working relationships and maintain high quality standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, business or public administration, management or similar discipline preferred.
  • Five (5) years of experience in progressively responsible positions with a preference for contract compliance experience.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of contract legal requirements.
  • Exceptional writing skills and ability to proof read and ability to proof read and edit.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to speak with employees at all levels within or outside of the organization.
  • Ability to make presentations before diverse audiences.
  • Well organized, multi-task oriented.
  • Must be available for extensive travel.
  • Ability to develop in-depth knowledge of department and operational policies, services, and products and pass internal certification on an annual basis for BI work.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation as required and obtain a Suitability Determination for BI work.
  • Be proficient in use of computers and the necessary software applications used by the department.
