Position Description:

Purpose

Manages personnel and resources to ensure that goals are met in a timely and effective manner. Responsible for the day-to-day administration and operations of the Department's clinical programs, outpatient and inpatient, collaborating with the Department Administrator, Directors, and Managers. Maintains an environment conducive to peak performance in all areas of operation.

Primary Functions

* Provides various office and location support activities.

* Identifies, enhances, and follows specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the business unit to which the support is being provided.

* Ensures correct functioning of facilities, office and/or business support services.

* Assists with the develop of the budgets by providing pertinent clinical productivity information.

* Directs division operations and allocates people, material, and financial resources to ensure operational efficiency.

* Manages office services and operations including preparing reports, analysis, and other business services.

* Oversees operational activities supporting the clinical mission, outpatient and inpatient, to ensure efficiency and compliance with the department and institution's policies and procedures.

* Partners with department leadership and provides strategic planning and business development recommendations.

* Responsible for the division's fiscal operations as well as recruitment, hiring, training, disciplinary action, and performance evaluation processes.

Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree

Minimum Required Experience: 6 years or 3 years and completion of a MCW Administrative Fellowship.
