Supervisor, Research Finance (Hybrid)

The Research Finance Supervisor is responsible for guiding RFS I & II performance, to include training and daily oversight to assure departmental goals are met. Performs routine analysis of team accuracy and productivity. Primary point of contact with UH CBO on claim management. Responsible for monthly preparation of the Research Finance performance reports and other ad hoc reporting to Finance Director. Responsible for database management, maintenance, and reconciliation.

What You Will Do

• Manages daily operations of staff by ensuring adequate staffing and establishing goals/objectives to that body of work, while maintaining efficiency, accuracy and timeliness. (50%)
• Independently supports assigned departments (20%)
• Responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and serves as primary backup to the Financial Director. (15%)
• Analyzes current processes and procedures, including work-flow patterns to provide input for greater efficiency. (15%)

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
