Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking a motivated Production Control Planner with experience in prototyping and low-volume manufacturing. This role involves working with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to develop and produce electrical and mechanical hardware solutions for commercial, aerospace, and defense systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement production processes for hardware solutions.
• Create Bills of Materials from technical drawings or CAD models.
• Perform technical estimating and optimize manufacturing methods.
• Plan production schedules and manage resource allocation.
• Oversee material flow and process control to ensure production efficiency.
• Utilize ERP/MES software for production planning and tracking.
• Work independently and take initiative in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or 4 years of equivalent experience plus 5 years of work experience, orrequires an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
• Candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of production planning and quality control principles in an AS9100 environment.
• Candidate must have experience of MS Office and ERP systems.
• Candidate must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical instructions.
• Must have experience estimatingmanufacturing projects.
• Experience creating process plans and developing manufacturing methods is required.
• Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Mustbe aU.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain/maintaina DoD Secret Security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deltek Costpoint
• Inventory Management
• ECI M1 or Epicor
• Project Management and Project Planning experience

Workplace safety is a priority at Torch. Candidates must receive and present an OSHA 10-Hour Training Course for General Industry certification (either a card from the Department of Labor or certificate of completion from an authorized trainer) within the first 90 days of employment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed training prior to employment. Training may be completed online.
