POSITION

The Business Analyst' position will report directly to the Sr. Director of Products on the ProductManagementteam. This is a full-time remote position.

This position requires an enthusiastic, self-motivated, dedicated, focused,and detail-oriented individual who can use their analytical and logical skills to solve real world business challenges, analyze and gather requirements, recommend, and streamline processes, and contribute to the delivery of products and solutions that contribute to the overall success of the company.

The Business Analyst willact astheliaisonbetween the Product Management and R&D teams.Theywill work closelywiththe Product Manager(s) who will definethefeatures to be added to upcoming releases.This role may span multiple products atComputrition.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The core responsibilities of the position include:

  • Ability to partner with the stakeholders to thoroughly understand the customer journey and enhance their business objectives.
  • Gather, organize, lead discussions,anddocumentthe necessary business and technicalrequirements needed todeliver a detailed user story to the development team.
  • Participate in team brainstorming and problem solving/design sessions.
  • Be accountable to effectively 'own' the projects you are supporting - including understanding its user experience and business impact from end to end, as well as functioning as a subject matter expert for the product's growth and success.
  • Enter and updatestories inAzureDevOps.
  • Attend the Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demos,andSprint Retrospectivemeetings for their associated projects.
  • Organize and conduct regular story refinement sessions with their Development Team(s).
  • Reviewand provide commentary on allinternal and externaluser documentation and materials.
  • Support projects that require research and analysis, including discussions and follow-up.
  • Assist in the ProductManagement Team'sescalation and triage process.
  • Specific to this role: have a strong understanding of our software products and be willing to learn more about our personas.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with use of Hospitality Suite strongly recommended
  • Ability to handle multiple duties associated with a project life cycle
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders, including Sr. Leaders, Product Managers, Application Users, and Software Developers.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
  • Strong analytical skills required, including an extensive understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into requirements
  • Ability to work effectively with Microsoft products to create encompassing documentation that provides the necessary level of detail to both the business and technical communities.
  • Have a positive, team-oriented attitude and work ethic
  • Excellent Organizational Skills
