Job Summary:

In a career as a Clinic Operations Coordinator, you join us in providing life-changing care to patients from across the region. In this role, you will direct select business and operational functions of the Boys Town National Research Hospital (BTNRH) pediatric and specialty clinics.

Schedule: Full-Time, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday

Location: Pacific Street Clinic

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Develops operating and capital budgets in collaboration with the clinical directors.
  • Monitors and evaluates financial/operational data for accuracy, to identify trends, predict resource needs and recommend adjustments.
  • Identifies and evaluates business and reimbursement strategies for financial effectiveness including, but not limited to, coding, supply/equipment purchasing and standardization, charge establishment and reconciliation, and payroll administration.
  • Assists with itineraries for new provider interviews.
  • Facilitates the onboarding and orientation schedules of new providers; ensure the credentialing process is complete.
  • Provides administrative support to clinical directors including responsibility for purchase requisitions, payments, credit card purchase and reconciliation, and coordination of clinic leases.
  • Participates in BTNRH committee's and/or routine meetings as relevant to hospital operations and facilities.
  • Participation and attendance at the clinic manager meetings.
  • Initiates and maintains professional business relationships with both internal and external vendors for purposes of building and maintenance projects.
  • Initiates and maintains contracted service agreements on clinical equipment not supported internally. In conjunction with accounting, implements Blanket Orders.
  • Assures compliance with organizational policies and procedures and regulatory requirements related to job responsibilities.
  • Identifies, analyzes and recommends strategies to improve business and operational clinic functions; assumes responsibility for coordination and completion of projects as assigned.
  • Rounds at the various clinics to ensure project completion.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree or certification in business or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an administrative assistant or relevant experience in a healthcare setting required.
