Overview of Position:

The Heiser Automotive Group has an immediate opening for an experienced Parts Counterperson. We are seeking professional individuals who demonstrates strong customer service skills, are detail oriented, and who are self-starters and team players capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The Parts Counterperson is responsible for customer service and retail sales in our Parts department.

Responsibilities



  • Selling parts and managing parts inventory/stock
  • Locating and sourcing correct parts
  • Ordering parts as needed
  • Interaction with Technicians
  • Deliver price quotes over the phone and offer status updates on shipments of parts
  • Other miscellaneous duties as they arise


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Minimum 1+ year(s) relevant experience
  • Previous parts/service experience preferred
  • Previous automotive knowledge preferred
  • Extensive automotive parts knowledge a plus
  • Ability to lift items/supplies up to 50lbs.
  • Valid and clean WI Driver's License
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to function as part of a team and work independently
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of a fast-paced work environment
