The Network Administrator III position will consist of assisting in day-to-day network-related tasks such as network health and site availability. The Admin will also work with other support teams to work on helpdesk tickets assigned to the Network-specific group or aid in helping desk side in possible network related issues. On a daily basis there will be a variety of tasks by using tools such as Solar Winds, Cisco SA suite of web-based tools, Aruba Airwave for Aruba controller, WAP, and RAP support. At Vertex we have a complex network of Cisco SD-WAN and Cisco Firepower firewalls along with a variety of security tools by Cisco and other leading software vendors. The Network Admin role will be responsible for day-to-day end-user support as well as being part of our ongoing growing Cisco infrastructure and a wide range of Aruba wireless options. The Network Admin will work with Telco vendors to address any type of outages that may be experienced throughout our World Wide Network and work with various Telco partners to aid in circuit and site resolution. This is a position that will be exposed to some of the newest Cisco technology and a wide variety of site-to-site connectivity.
