The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology-Oncology is recruiting a Visiting Scholar to work in Dr. Atsuo Sasaki's lab.

Essential Functions

  • The successful candidate will join a dynamic research team focused on the biochemical, pharmacological, and metabolic analysis of the regulatory mechanisms underlying inositol phospholipid and GTP metabolism.
  • The position requires expertise in advanced biochemical techniques, pathway analysis, and pharmacological approaches to understand how these critical molecules are involved in cellular signaling and energy homeostasis.
  • The research aims to elucidate novel molecular targets that can be exploited for therapeutic intervention in various human diseases, including cancer.

Minimum Requirements

  • Appropriate academic degree related to department specifications and prior academic experience.
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research evidenced by peer reviews and publications.
