The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology-Oncology is recruiting a Visiting Scholar to work in Dr. Atsuo Sasaki's lab. Essential Functions The successful candidate will join a dynamic research team focused on the biochemical, pharmacological, and metabolic analysis of the regulatory mechanisms underlying inositol phospholipid and GTP metabolism. The position requires expertise in advanced biochemical techniques, pathway analysis, and pharmacological approaches to understand how these critical molecules are involved in cellular signaling and energy homeostasis. The research aims to elucidate novel molecular targets that can be exploited for therapeutic intervention in various human diseases, including cancer. Minimum Requirements Appropriate academic degree related to department specifications and prior academic experience. Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research evidenced by peer reviews and publications.
