Engineering Inspection Technician

Acara Solutions is seeking an Engineering Inspection Technician to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity located in Rochester, NY

The hours are 2 ^nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) and the pay range is $19.87-$35.62 with a $2.00 shift differential

Essential Duties:

* Perform first article inspections/layouts meeting PPAP and SCR requirements to validate new tooling and
tooling modifications.
* Create detailed work instruction for inspectors to measure critical dimensions during production.
* Perform capability studies for IQ/OQ/PQ requirements.
* Perform Gage R & R studies

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

* Print reading, GD&T Standards required
* Knowledge of general measurement equipment (gage pins, micrometers, Vernier, calipers, drop indicator,
etc.)

* Minimum five (5) years proven experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

* CMM experience preferred
* PCDMIS experience preferred
* OGP SmartScope experience preferred
* QC-Calc experience preferred
