LinQuest, a KBR Company is looking for Master Electricians in Chantilly, VA. This position requires an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.

Who You Are

Assists the General Foreman or Superintendent by providing input to identify key success factors for Electrical crew. Provides leadership to cause the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of construction and maintenance services and is responsible for the execution of electrical services, quality assurance, subcontractor performance, and construction cost. Evaluates electrical service execution for compliance to contract, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality, advising the project team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors on to go" scope. Maintains the short range look ahead plans and discusses all deviations with the General Foreman or Superintendent. Reviews and monitors cost and man-hour budget for installation process develops an equipment and tool requirement plan and reviews it with the General Foreman or Superintendent.

This is a contingent position based on contract award

What You'll Do

As a Electrician, Master, you will:




  • Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring.



  • Inspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and components.



  • Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.



  • Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.



  • Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.



  • Other duties as required




Qualifications:




  • High school diploma; further education or certification in electrical engineering or a related field.



  • Valid master electrician license.



  • 5+ years of proven experience as an electrician.



  • Extensive understanding of electrical systems, energy management, and safety regulations.



  • Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.



  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.



  • Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.




Clearance: Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.
