Co-Lead Facilitator PD

Summary:
Co-facilitate social skills groups for children and teens with autism. Groups are formed based upon age and abilities of participants.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate assigned Social Skills Groups in conjunction with the lead Social Skills Group Licensed Facilitator.
In conjunction with Licensed Facilitator develop activity plans for assigned groups including curriculum goals activity sequence and materials.
Assist Licensed Facilitator in maintaining client informational records.
Set up activities and materials and complete materials requests.
Supervise clean-up by support staff following groups.
Communicate with families regarding their children*s group participation.
Supervise and manage support staff and 1:1 staff.
Flexible work schedule including some nights and weekends when groups are running.
Willingness to work as a team member in a rapidly expanding NON-PROFIT agency.

Other information:

Knowledge
Bachelor*s degree in Special Education or related field preferred.
Experience
Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders is a must along with training in current best practices for supporting individuals with autism.
