Job Function - Responsible for running the day-to-day activities of a shuttle operation including, but not limited to, the supervision of employees, maintaining client relations, and ensuring that company standards are being upheld. Other duties include general accounting, general HR functions (hiring, terminating, and training) and claims review. This includes:
Responsibilities
Oversee customer relations to ensure that complaints, disagreements or misunderstandings about the shuttle bus operation or service are resolved diplomatically.
- Oversee daily shuttle bus operation.
- Supervise the quality of work for all employees to ensure that all work tasks and assignments are performed efficiently, effectively, and as required.
- Ensure that proper shuttle operations, security, cash control and customer service procedures are being followed by all employees.
- Handle all personnel issues and paperwork for hiring, termination and training of support staff.
- Supervise shuttle operations in order to ensure that incoming customers are served efficiently and properly.
- Monitor maintenance of the operation to ensure that it is clean and maintained according to company policies and procedures.
- Handle general accounting duties such as accounts payable, payroll, petty cash, and budgeting.
- Monitor and review all damage claims in order to assign responsibility for damages.
- Recommend and implement plans or programs to improve safety of operations to prevent the occurrence or reoccurrence of similar claims.
Qualifications
Salary Range: $60,000/year Benefits: Eligible employees will participate in the various benefits plans including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, long/short term disability, life insurance, accident insurance, 401k and paid time off.
- Qualified candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Qualified candidates must have prior supervisory or management experience; Prior supervisory experience in the transportation industry preferred (this role requires supervision of full-time and part-time shuttle drivers and other frontline hourly positions).
- Qualified candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
- Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be required.
