Key Position Details:
- Hybrid position - Typically 1 or 2 days per week onsite at the Allina Commons in Minneapolis
- 1.0 FTE (80 hours per 2-week pay period)
- 8-hour day shifts
- No weekends
Job Description: Support regulatory requirements for community benefit, including required reporting and completion and execution of the Community Health Needs Assessment. Lead evaluation and assessment activities related to Community Benefit and Engagement and serves as a resource for the Community Benefit and Engagement team regarding data analysis and assessment.
Principle Responsibilities
- Community benefit reporting and community health needs assessment
- Supports compliance with state and federal regulatory guidelines and standards including Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNAs), implementation strategies, annual state Community Benefit Reports, and IRS Schedule H community benefit expense reporting and narrative responses.
- Serves as the internal subject matter expert for the community benefit online reporting database, Lyon Software Community Benefit Inventory for Social Accountability (CBISA).
- Proactively identifies opportunities to improve collection, reporting and use of community benefit data.
- Evaluation
- Leads evaluation design and implementation for Community Benefit and Engagement.
- Analyzes program impact and provide recommendations for improvement as appropriate.
- Communicates evaluation findings and recommendations to internal and external audiences, including report writing, presentations and data visualization.
- Visibility and engagement
- Supports development and implementation of the community engagement infrastructure to promote visibility and engagement around community benefit throughout the organization.
- Develops, maintains and leads regular community benefit training and educational opportunities to internal stakeholders, leaders, and new employees
- Collaborates with internal subject matter experts to keep them apprised of community benefit reporting requirements.
- Operations and administrative support
- Supports system-level community benefit and engagement operations through activities such as communication with community organizations, invoice processing and program coordination.
- Assists with development and execution and monitoring of metrics, such as internal and external surveys, dashboards or scorecards and project tracking tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public health, community health, public policy, social work or related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
- 2+ years program evaluation, data analysis, or research experience in a healthcare, social service, public health, or advocacy setting or equivalent

- Master's degree in Public health, community health, public policy, social work or related field
