Job Description
This position delivers prompt, friendly, courteous service to guests ensuring all orders for are done accurately and in a timely manner. This position works shifts in both our Capital A restaurant as well as our Cloud Bar rooftop pool bar. Omni Benefits Include
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of fine dining service.
- Station set-up and breakdown/side-work.
- Put away storeroom supplies.
- Reset tables as needed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
- Serve properly mixed and proportioned drinks, in a timely manner, to guests and servers.
- Have excellent working knowledge of liquors, beers and wines.
- Upsell and suggestive sell of both food and beverage to guests.
- Requisition and restock bar with all essential products and equipment.
- Monitor environment in room (temperature, lighting, music, televisions).
- Observe and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
- Check identification of guests ensuring alcohol is served only to those patrons of legal drinking age.
- Monitor the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting sale of alcohol to those who are intoxicated
- Communicate with guests and respond to feedback in a positive manner, resolving any service issues.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication & guest service skills
- Must have a strong attention to detail.
- Available to work a flexible shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Must have or be able to obtain Food Handlers and TABC certification.
- Perform any and all other duties assigned and/or required by management.
- Must be able to lift, pull, push 50lbs+.
- Must be able to walk, stand up to 10+ hours shift. Working Conditions: exposure to weather conditions, hazardous chemicals, and exposure to all food and beverage options.
