The Opportunity:

The Project Coordinator II plays a pivotal role in driving strategic projects and initiatives within the Advancement & Partnerships division, ensuring seamless execution, effective change management, and coordination at the executive level. This role focuses on managing cross-functional projects, streamlining operations, and fostering collaboration across the division, all while aligning with organizational goals and priorities. The Project Coordinator II partners closely with the Associate Vice President for Advancement Operations to lead and support key efforts that enhance efficiency and organizational success.

Responsibilities:


  • Project Leadership and Executive Coordination: Collaborates with the AVP for Advancement Operations to plan, manage, and execute key projects, ensuring strategic alignment and resource optimization. Prepares briefs, executive summaries, and presentations to support informed decision-making and facilitate coordination of division-wide priorities and drives cross-departmental communication and accountability to ensure collaborative efforts yield timely and effective outcomes.

  • Aligns project goals with divisional and university objectives by working closely with the Project Manager and key stakeholders to foster a unified approach to success.

  • Change Management and Process Improvement: leads change management strategies for divisional projects, working with the Training Specialist III and leadership to craft and execute plans that support staff during transitions.

  • Develops and communicates clear, actionable updates on project progress and outcomes to ensure transparency and engagement.

  • Identifies operational challenges and recommends innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and address emerging needs.

  • Internal Communications: Partners with SMEs, content creators, and leadership to draft and deliver clear, inclusive, and engaging communications tailored to diverse audiences.

  • Keeps staff informed of divisional updates, project milestones, and initiatives through accessible and strategic communication channels.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Previous project management and/or coordinating experience.

  • Experience in a nonprofit or higher education fundraising setting.

  • Previous experience with CRM, such as Blackbaud, Salesforce, or similar.

  • Experience in Microsoft Project.
