What You'll Do:

• Operates all radiographic equipment in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Department at a technical level, under the direction of a Cardiologist

• Perform scrub assist role during Cath/EP procedures

• Assist in providing optimum care for patients undergoing procedures

• Record information and evaluate patient responses to procedures

Where You'll Be:

The Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Department includes three labs and a hybrid OR staffed by Nurses and Special Procedures Technologists. Nurses and Special Procedures Technologists assist in various procedures including heart catheterizations, electrophysiology studies with catheter/pulmonary vein ablations, pulmonary embolism thrombectomies, device implantations, and other Cardiovascular procedures.

What You'll Need:

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiological Technology Program

• Current A.R.R.T. Certificate in General Radiology

• Current Indiana Radiation License

• BLS for Healthcare Provider (Required, will provide training)

• Minimum two years experience in clinical hospital setting

• One year vascular or cardiovascular lab experience (Preferred)

• Current knowledge of working under aseptic techniques and catheter manipulation (Preferred)
