Responsibilities
We are now hiring an HIM Coordinator at Sea Grove Recovery, a new facility opening in 2025! Located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Sea Grove Recovery will provide substance use treatment for adults, as well as dual diagnosis treatment for adults with a co-occurring mental health disorder. The 41-bed facility is in a serene, wooded environment and is designed to maximize healing and meet the needs of every patient who attends treatment. Sea Grove offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP) that takes place for most of the day throughout the week with PHP lodging available. The program allows for those in our care to receive treatments and therapies throughout the day in an environment conducive to healing and a treatment plan built around their individual needs. In addition to the substance use program, Sea Grove Recovery is equipped to provide treatment to those with a substance use disorder and a co-occurring mental health disorder. Visit us online at: https://seagroverecovery.com/ The HIM Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and analyzing medical records to ensure accuracy by the established standards. Working in coordination with the Corporate Business Office, the HIM coordinator will ensure accurate coding is applied to each medical record as well as maintain and manage the medical records at the facility. This position is responsible to accurately prioritize, locate, pull, assemble, and track and assure the appropriate recording and transport of complete records ensuring that all security measures are maintained. HIM serves as the Privacy Officer of the facility and is responsible for all activities therein. Benefit Highlights:
