Seneca Federal Solutionsis looking to hire aProject Manager to support our Products and Solutions Sector. This position will primarily support the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) under the direction of our Program Manager of Critical Infrastructure. This position is remote, but will require up to 30% travel. The ideal candidate will reside in an area with convenient access to a major airport.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:



  • Prepare budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Overseeing full lifecycle of project and program delivery, reporting financials, controlling budgets, streamlining operational functions, and resolving project issues, while meeting stringent deadlines
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and estimates to complete
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
  • Closely monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as needed
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Create and maintain strong federal customer relationships
  • Develop, implement and execute new growth strategies
  • Work with Seneca contracts and pricing departments to ensure Subcontractor negotiations are completed prior to project start date


Basic Qualifications:



  • Eight (8) years of project management experience within the telecommunications or construction space, but specifically with USACE.
  • Bachelor's degree in management, Business Administration, or related field; Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • USACE Experience required
  • Must have knowledge of RMS, ProjNet, EM385 and similar Corps specific systems and documents
  • Must have experience in overseeing full lifecycle of project and program delivery
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead meetings virtually, and in person, to Government customers
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively and resourcefully
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Must be proficient in MS Project and/or Primavera for creating and maintaining detailed schedules
  • Excellent analytical skills along with experience interpreting engineering and construction schematics.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline


Desired Skills:



  • Knowledge of SBA and the 8(a) program is highly desired.
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
  • UMCS Quality Control Manager (QCM) training and certification
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time to job sites (U.S. and abroad)
  • Secret or Top Secret Clearance, or ability to achieve clearances.
  • US citizen, or US passport holder with ability to access Government installations.
