Job Title: Logistics Enterprise Technology Analyst

Location(s): Sacramento, CA ( Remote)

1. Scope Of Work:

Professional services resource working on a time and materials basis to support SAP Logistics (WM and P2P). Assess and develop Transformation strategies, implement solutions to resolve issues and optimize process efficiencies. Resource will support tasks as needed and be expected to support tasks such as the following:



  • Supply planning and forecasting.
  • Assess current state of supply planning and forecasting.
  • Assess opportunities automate and fit current state to standard in ECC/S4.
  • Pre-activities needed to ensure smooth transition to new MRP in S4 Hana.


Advise on leading practices and technology in order to:



  • Leverage technology to develop supply plans to optimize planning, forecasting and relationships with suppliers to reduce risk of supply outages.
  • Improve/optimize supply requirements for contract optimization and capacity planning with manufactures.
  • Improve internal demand planning and subsequent reporting to scale/influence materials forecasts, right-size inventory levels to reduce waste, increase inventory turns, and optimize space utilization within bothplants and storage locations.


Warehouse management (WM) to Extended Warehouse management (EWM) Migration:



  • Assess current state of ECC WM and advise prework that needs to be completed for smooth migration of EWM.
  • Advise on leading practices, process alignment and additional features of EWM in order to optimize and enhance several area of WM such as mobile, serialization & batch management, reporting, cycle-count automation and scheduling, vendor collaboration, space collaboration, serialization expansion, batch management, KPIs & reporting, cycle counting optimization & reporting.


Procurement Optimization



  • Advise leading practices to align with standard S4 Hana processes and enhanced features in areas such as S4 sourcing, contracting, purchasing, receiving, SES in order to:


Propose strategies to:



  • Improve user experience for internal customers, external suppliers, and procurement team.
  • Support S4 catalog integration with various external suppliers.
  • Automate manual reporting.
  • Improve compliance and leveraging system workflows and increased controls
  • Support MM/WM ECC
  • Provide operational support and break fix as assigned.


Mandatory Requirements



  • Minimum five (5) years' experience implementing, supporting, and optimizing SAP S4Hana MM, WM and Procurement solutions.
  • Must be certified in S4 Hana Logistics and Procurement applications.


Technical Requirements



  • Experience in 2-3 S4 Hana Implementations managing S4 Logistics applications.
  • Experience validating design and identity opportunities to develop improvements, sharing leading practices and recommendations to optimize SAP Logistics and Procurement solutions and address pain points.
  • Must possess strong organizational, communications and customer service, and teamwork skills and relevant experience.
  • Collaborates with Functional Analysts and Business SME's, to design and develop solutions based on the objectives and requirements.
  • Promote and adhere to best practices in technical change, management, and governance.


Desirable Qualifications



  • Extensive experience supporting ECC and S4 Hana Logistics and Procurement applications.
  • Experience configuring and implementing ECC and S4 Hana Logistics and Procurement applications.
  • Minimum five (5) years providing technical support for SAP ECC and S4 Hana Logistics and Procurement applications.
