The Accommodated Academic Exam Specialist works within the University of Virginia's Student Disability Access Center (SDAC) to provide oversight in scheduling and administration of accommodated academic exams to students with disabilities with approved accommodations. This position will work closely with the Assistant Director and the Accommodated Exam Coordinator.

About the Position: The anticipated hiring range for this position is $25.00-26.00 hourly, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The selected applicant will pass a background check and drug screen. A typical schedule would be 7:30am- 4:30pm Monday- Friday with occasional weekend hours during busy times of the year such as the final exam period. This is a full-time position with UVA benefits. Physical Demands: This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. However, it does involve light lifting and dexterity, and requires the ability to pick up and move stacks of papers, hand out papers, load a ream of paper in the printer, etc. The job occasionally requires traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
