Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit |
The
UNC Adams School of Dentistry Office of Clinical Operations is responsible for overseeing patient care, providing quality assurance, maintaining infection control, administering regulatory compliance and preserving fiscal stability. The Office of Clinical Operations is an integral part of the School and their primary mission is to provide the highest quality education and training to students and to provide the highest quality dental treatment available for patients. |
Position Summary |
The Patient Relations Representative will assist with scheduling, canceling, modifying, and/or reconciling appointments for patient admissions. This position will enter and retrieve appointment information, answering multi-line telephones, confirm scheduled appointments and route callers to appropriate staff/departments. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Ability to maintain schedules for work coordination. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Experience using
EPIC. |
Special Physical/Mental Requirements |

Campus Security Authority Responsibilities |
This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities. |
