THE JOB:

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is seeking a Starbucks Barista to join our team! As a Barista, you'll be at the forefront of creating unforgettable guest experiences by handcrafting signature beverages, preparing quick-serve food items, and delivering exceptional service. You'll showcase your passion for coffee, precision, and hospitality in every guest interaction.

THE STARTING RATE: $19.4629 plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable

• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures with Point-of-Sales (POS) system

• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests

• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in work station, counters, tables, etc.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• One year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced environment

• One year of guest service experience

• Experience in a coffeehouse environment as barista

• Takes pride in their work

• Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences

• Describes themselves as detail-oriented

• Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression

• Can handle multiple tasks at one time

• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
