Summary of Job Duties:The CT technologist will be responsible for providing quality diagnostic imaging for medical interpretation. Duties will include: operating CT equipment, handling patients, venipuncture, post-processing of images, patient transport, working with electronic medical records, and communication with physicians and other services. This position also includes call and holidays. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED PLUS Graduate of an approved Radiology program

  • One (1) year of CT experience

  • Registry eligible or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. An Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License must be obtained prior to start date.

  • CT Advanced Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist must be obtained within 12 months from date of hire

  • Ability to Follow Oral Instruction, Read and Write

Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Operation of CT imaging equipment and post-processing of data

  • Handling patients

  • Venipuncture

  • Use of EPIC

  • Call and holiday coverage

  • Communicate with patients, physicians, clinics, and other services in the hospital in an effective, professional, and courteous manner.

  • Responsible for maintaining their professional license(s), National Registry, and all annual competencies.

  • Other duties may be assigned to this position
